Key Achievements


Amongst CTS’s key achievements are:

  • Telstra - National Maintenance of PC’s, Hardware and Software.

    CTS established the first Outsourced Contract on a National basis which resulted in significant operational and cost savings and, subsequently, a formal partnering alliance arranged by CTS

  • RAAF - Photographic Training School and Services.

    CTS was the Strategic Consultant. This role included the development of an Outsourcing Strategy incorporating a risk management plan and evaluation plan, the development of a Statement of Requirement; offer evaluation and contract establishment.

  • Australian Customs Department - Coastwatch.

    Previous outsourced Coastwatch Contracts valued at $270 million had been unsatisfactory and had resulted in litigation.

    CTS was engaged as the expert to advise in strategy development, particularly for incentive contracting, and provision of hands-on training for tender evaluation and negotiation. A 9 year contract that continues to run effectively and successfully was implemented.

  • Commonwealth Government Department of Health and Family Services - National Payroll Function.

    CTS was the Strategic Consultant for the development of the Business Case. This role included conducting a Benchmarking Study, development of a risk management plan, on-site training and development of a Statement of Requirement.

  • SACON.

    CTS led the project which replaced SACON’s stores with a range of service and direct supply contracts.

  • State Supply and Department of Education, SA.

    CTS conducted the outsourcing study which led to the outsourcing of the supply and distribution of primary school text books.

  • State Bank SA.

    CTS conducted feasibility & contestability studies leading to outsourcing of warehousing and printed forms, but retention of records.
